The Aladina Foundation has installed the first pediatric autocovid of Spain in the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA). Thanks to this project it would be possible to detect the virus in the children’s population in an effective and agile way. Furthermore, due to his casual and cheerful appearance it will make little children find a friendlier and quieter environment at the moment of testing
The pediatric autocovid is fully equipped, it has six healthcare professionals specialized in pediatrics, two nurses and one assistant during each shift. The PCR tests will be done from your own car or in special cases when you do not go by car it will be done outside the autocovid
UCO Trading is very proud to cooperate again with the Aladina Foundation. In 2019 we had the opportunity to contribute with the project “Territorio de juego”, where they humanised the pediatrics and neonatology áreas from the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA) situated in Oviedo. In 2020, we believe that it is even more important to collaborate with this kind of initiatives and we are proud to contribute with the Aladina Foundation in its newer project, the installation of the pediatric autocovid in the HUCA, thanks to this initiative we will contribute to improve the situation we are facing
