Buying and selling of used vegetable oil and raw materials for biodiesel
Sustainable solutions for the recycling and recovery of industrial waste
At UCO Trading, we manage the procurement and supply of raw materials derived from vegetable oil and fatty waste, intended for the production of biofuels. We guarantee traceability, consistent quality and international operations tailored to the needs of the energy sector.

Our Products
Sustainable feedstocks for biofuels
Our product portfolio consists of recoverable waste and industrial by-products that are converted into energy resources. We work with key raw materials for biodiesel production, ensuring a stable supply, regulatory compliance and the optimisation of industrial processes.
Used cooking oil (UCO)
Used cooking oil (UCO) is a vegetable-based lipid waste product derived from cooking activities in the hospitality sector, the food industry and the domestic sphere. Following a process of filtration and decanting to remove impurities and moisture, UCO becomes the main component for the production of second-generation biofuels such as HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) or SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).

Animal fats (Categories 1, 2 and 3)
Animal fats are by-products derived from the processing of animal tissues (SANDACH). They are classified into three categories according to their origin and health risk, with categories 1 and 2 being intended exclusively for energy recovery and the production of advanced biofuels such as HVO or SAF.

Acid Oils
Acid oils are oil-based by-products generated during the chemical refining of crude vegetable oils, specifically during the neutralisation process of soap stocks. They are characterised by a high content of free fatty acids (FFA) and a composition rich in usable lipids. Their main application is in the technical chemical industry and in the production of low-cost biofuels such as SMF (Sustainable Marine Fuels), where their industrial use closes the life cycle of refined vegetable oils.

Glycerin (Glicerol)
Glycerine is the main by-product of biodiesel production. In its crude form, it is a viscous liquid with a high glycerol content. It is a highly versatile resource used as a carbon source in biogas plants to enhance the efficiency of anaerobic digestion, as well as in the manufacture of basic chemicals.

Effluent from the Molino de Palma – POME
POME is an organic liquid waste produced during the palm oil extraction process at mills. Once processed and its oil content recovered, it becomes a high-value feedstock for the production of advanced biofuels.

Food Waste
This waste, which comes from the food processing industry, commercial surpluses or municipal organic waste, undergoes recovery processes to be converted into renewable energy. Its high organic matter content makes it an ideal substrate for anaerobic digestion and the production of biofuels, biogas or biomethane.

Grease Traps - FOG
Waste from grease traps, technically known as FOG (Fats, Oils and Grease), consists of mixtures of lipids, water and solids trapped in the wastewater interception systems of industrial kitchens and processing plants. Once treated and purified, the oils recovered from grease traps are used as a highly efficient feedstock for the production of advanced biofuels.
